TothesouthofBaotuquanspringsistheWhiteSnowBuildingatShiwanquanspring.ItwassetupinmemoryofLiPanlong,awriterandscholarofTheQingDynasty.Itwasburntdowninafireandwasrebuiltin1996togetherwithanoperastage.Hereperennialoperasandplaysareperformed,makingitaperformancecenterwellknownnotonlyinChinabutalsointheworld.SoutheastofBaotuquanspringsisacourtyardcalledCangyuanGarden,whereitissaidthatLiPanlongwasstudying.Thethreehallsandtwocourtsinthegardenareallconnectedbytwistingopencorridors.Therearerareflowers,oddtrees,greenpinetreesandqueerrockeriesinthegarden.In1987,amemorialwassetuphereforWangXuetao,afamousmodernpainterofflowersandbirds.MorethantwohundredpiecesofChinesepaintingarehereonexhibitionallyearround.
